The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) held a seminar on gender and media on 4 and 5 September in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The event was supported by the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung and formed part of a triannual project led in the region to promote gender equality in journalists' trade unions' activities.
