1. What does it mean to be a journalist in Malaysia?

Being a journalist means to be a part of a fraternity that values truth and resourcefulness in an interesting setting, culture and time.

2. Do you see media freedom In Malaysia moving forward?

It does and it will, as long as more and more journalists adhere to journalism more than politics.

3. What can we do to be better?

Ensure that editors and journalist are bound by principles and journalism ethics and rather than not other things.

4. What can we do to ensure media freedom?

Free the editorial direction from political, business and advertorial “pressures”.
