La FIJ et la FEJ se félicitent de la remise en liberté du journaliste italien Gabriele Del Grande en Turquie
MISE A JOUR LE 24 AVRIL 2017. Le journaliste italien Gabriele Del Grande a été libéré en Turquie.La Fédération nationale de la presse italienne (FNSI),l’affiliée italienne des Fédérations internationale et européenne des journalistes (La FIJ et la FEJ), s’est rassemblée à Rome le 11 avril afin de lancer un appel en faveur de la libération de Gabriele Del Grande, un journaliste italien qui avait été arrêté par les autorités turques à la frontière avec la Syrie.
“We hope his swift release and immediate return to Italy, while we thank the Italian diplomatic authorities, which is closely following the case”, said the General Secretary and the President of the FNSI, Raffaele Lorusso and Giuseppe Giulietti.
Gabriele Del Grande was detained on Monday 10 April in Turkey’s southeastern province of Hatay while he entered the country a few days before to “begin work on a year-long project”.
On 2 May, the FNSI will organise together with Articolo21, Amnesty International Italy, Usigrai, Association of Journalists of Lazio, Pressing NoBavaglio and other organizations another sit-in in front of the Turkish embassy in Rome, where they will read the names of the 149 journalists jail in Turkey.
