IFJ deplores the killing of Brazilian media worker Gledyson Carvalho

finThe International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) has today condemned the brutal murder of the media worker Gledyson Carvallo last 6 August in Brazil.

Carvallo, who was a radio commentator, was shot dead live on air after two gunmen burst into the studio he was broadcasting from in Ceara, north-east of Brazil.

He was under threat since he denounced corruption and local politicians.
