Today’s media are rapidly evolving in response to revolutionary change in technology and society. Some new ventures will survive and thrive, others will die – but which ones, and why? Our distinguished speakers will share their experiences and lessons learned, discuss their visions for the future, and offer tips for running an online media outlet. To provide an international perspective, we are delighted to welcome Mr Dick Tofel, President of propublica.org, and Ms Anjuli Sastry, Writer Liaison of beaconreader.com Our esteemed panellists from Hong Kong include Mr Kevin Lau Chun-To, Chief Operating Officer of Medianet Resources Ltd; Mr Mike Yee, former Chief Curator of thehousenews.com; Ms Christina Lo, Director of Digital Strategy at Next Media; Mr Ip Iam-Chong, Co-Founder of inmediahk.net; Mr Yau Wai-Wa, Managing Editor of post852.com; and Dr Fu King-Wa, Associate Professor of the Journalism and Media Studies Centre at the University of Hong Kong.
