«Panama Papers» sets an example for the profession

Over 400 journalists around the world have illustrated what our profession can and should bring to citizens. During 9 months journalists gathered in the International Consortium of investigative journalists (ICIJ) collected over 11.5 million documents from the Panama-based law firm Mossack Fonseca specialised in the creation of offshore companies. 107 international media worked on these "Panama Papers". The IFJ joins its affiliates around the world to applaud the exemplary work of investigation carried by colleagues across the globe setting an example for the whole profession.
