The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) once again expresses its concern about the situation of violence against journalism in Guatemala, where the killing of another journalist last Sunday brought to death tally of media professionals to six since the start of the year.
Hamilton Hernández was intercepted by unknown people while he was driving his motorcycle near Coatepeque, in the country’s southeastern region. The journalist was shot dead with his wife.
