Iftikhar Ahmed, a reporter with Daily Express, was killed instantly when gunmen opened fire on him while he was travelling to his workplace in Shakir Market, Charsadda, in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The journalist’s brother, Hazrat Bilal, filed a report against the assailants at Shabqadar Police Station under Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
