The General Meeting of the European Federation of Journalists is concerned about the excessive exceptions with regard to the principle of protection of sources contained in the draft law debated by the Belgium Parliament. The meeting firmly invites Belgian MPs to limit the exceptions to attempts against the physical integrity of the persons, and to reject other exceptions with extensive implications such as the security of the State.
