The IFJ affiliates fight against impunity

Australia: The Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance launches campaign and calls on authorities to bring perpetrators of crimes against journalists to justice.  Azerbaijan: Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety calls on Azerbaijani authorities to end impunity for crimes against journalists in its statement. Brasil: Federação Nacional dos Jornalistas supports the End Impunity day with its campaignColombia: Fecolper Federacion Colombiana De Periodistas will hold Summit of Journalists where impunity of violence against journalists will be discussed. France:SNJ, SNJ-CGT and CFDT issued a joint release on the killing of Ghislaine Dupont and Claude Verdon Montenegro: The Trade Union Media of Montenegro fights against impunity by sending an open letter to the Prime Minister Duško Marković and supports the campaign on social networks (here and here). Serbia: Journalists' Association of Serbia published a press release on the occasion of the fight against impunity. Somalia: National Union of Somali Journalists (NUSOJ) in cooperation with the IFJ hosted roundtable meeting on 2 November. The NUSOJ General Secretary Omar Faruk Osman was interviewed by BBC Somali Service on violance against journalists in Somalia and The New Times of Rwanda quoted him in an article about impunity in Somalia.  Spain: Federacion de Asociaciones de la Prensa Espanolainforms about the UN day to end impunity for crimes against journalists and supports it by press release (here and here). Ukraine: The National Union of Journalists of Ukrainedemands that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine introduce the position of an authorized agent of the Ukrainian Parliament for free speech and safety of journalists. The Independent Media Trade Union of Ukraine joins the impunity campaign and underlines the responsibility of authorities to investigate crimes against journalists.  United Kingdom: A motion was tabled by Clive Lewis, member of parliament, in the House of Parliament asking the British Parliament to support the IFJ Campaign against impunity. The National Union of Journalists (NUJ)supports IFJ in its campaign and joins campaigns to end impunity for crimes against journalists. The NUJ also sent a letter to Embassy of Mexico in London.
