Preparations are steaming ahead in order to welcome some 300 delegates who will converge on the Conference Centre in Angers, France, from 7 to 10 June 2016.
The deadline for registration is 18th March and the
congress website is now operational.
This 29th congress, which will mark the 90th anniversary of the IFJ’s existence, will offer an opportunity to reflect on the future of journalism across the world and how to reinforce the security of media professionals in their mission to inform. The consolidation of trade unions in the profession and notably among young people will also be discussed, along with ensuring trade union structures are open and reflective of their membership.
