Newsletter: Digital Campaign workshops take place across South Asia

Through July and August, the IFJ rolled out its Digital Campaign workshop training as part of the UNDEF South Asia Media Freedom for Democracy project. The workshops, which so far, have taken place in Sri Lanka, India, Nepal as well as regional training, have provided digital campaign skills trainings for over 100 journalists. A fifth training will be held in Pakistan before the end of the year. The trainings have provided journalists across the region with important tools and skills to take their campaigning online and utilise online tools to develop and strengthen their campaigns. Each training asked participants to develop a national campaign. These campaigns will be rolled out in coming months and call for action on important national issues in South Asia.
