The Ampatuan Massacre Three Years On – Why no action?
The following letter was sent to President Aquino by a coalition of four press freedom organisations including the IFJ on Friday November 23 to mark the International Day to End Impunity and the third anniversary of the Ampatuan massacre in the Philippines – the single biggest killing of journalists. It calls on the government and protect journalists and press freedom in the Philippines and take immediate action to end impunity.
