#EndImpunity IFJ demands Mexican authorities investigate killings of journalists

In a letter adressed to Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador on November 16, the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) has urged the authorities to dispel the impression of indifference in the face of deadly assaults against journalists. The authorities need to take action against the state of deterioration of press freedom in Mexico and need to promptly act to ensure the safety and security of our colleagues reporting on the ground.
