Send a postcard to jailed journalists in Turkey

EFJ

The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), the European Federation of Journalists (IFJ) and Türkiye Gazeteciler Sendikasi (TGS) have printed postcards with the names of the 158 journalists and media workers currently jailed in Turkey.
The names form the letter G for #Gazeteciliksuçdegildir or #Journalismisnotacrime
The IFJ is urging members to show their support to all the journalists and media workers in jail.
How to do it?
1. Get in touch with our unions or professional associations in your country and ask them to send you the postcard or simply print a PDF version available here.
2. Click here to select who you want to send the postcard to and click on “Send her/him a postcard” to see the postal address of the prison.
3. Or send the postcard to the TGS. The union will get in touch with the journalist’s relatives or friends and share your message.
The data shows that these journalists have spent a combined total of 80.000 days plus in jail in Turkey. The objective of the campaign is to bring it down to zero. Free them all immediately!
