Working alongside journalists in the region this project will support efforts to establish a national journalists' trade union in Libya and to develop a regional network of journalists' unions for North Africa.
Key Activities:
Establishing a working group for the regional network,
Conducting a regional study on the status of journalism
Organising a regional conference on journalists’ rights and trade unions.
Conducting a launch congress for a Libyan journalists’ union
