This project aims to improve levels of journalism, particularly on human rights issues. It aims to do so by defending journalists’ rights and independence, media freedom and fundamental liberties in the region, all in the framework of the initiative to establish a regional mechanism to support media independence and freedom and the adoption of the Declaration on Media Freedom in the Arab World.
