Photos from the IFJ Conference on Media, Armed Conflict and Hate Speeh

Take a look at photos from the International Federation of Journalists’ conference on ‘Media, Armed Conflict and Hate speech’, supported by UNESCO, which discussed the negative impact hate speech in media can have during armed conflicts.

The conference considered the lessons learned from the role Rwandan media played during the genocide of Tutsi in 1994 and in other conflicts where media fuelled hatred and violence.
