TRAINEESHIP:

European Federation of Journalists (EFJ)

Brussels, Belgium

Job Details: 3 month traineeship

Starting date: as soon as possible

Tasks:

    Assisting EFJ team with the drafting of monthly Newsletter;

    Assistance for communications, in particular social media feeds (Facebook & Twitter);

    Preparation, assistance and follow-up of advocacy activities towards the EU institutions;

    Monitoring relevant EU legislation and events, in particular the European Parliament's Committees;

    Administrative Assistance.

Requirements:

    Studies or practical experience in journalism/media/communication;

    Knowledge of the EU institutions; experience working with the EU institutions is an important asset;

    Strong interest in press freedom, journalism and current EU affairs;

    Fluency in English. Other EU languages are an asset;

    Standard computer skills (knowledge of Windows, Word, Internet Explorer) and IT applications, social media platforms;
