The Association Générale des Journalistes Professionnels de Belgique (AGJPB)/ Algemene Vereniging van Beroeps-journalisten in België (AVBB) stands up for journalism. President of the Parliament of Cyprus Stands Up for Journalism with the President, Vice-President, Secretary General and other members of the Executive Committee of the Union of Cyprus Journalists German Journalists from the Deutscher Journalisten Verband demonstrating with the DJV President Michael Konken. Spanish journalists held a demonstration against precarious working conditions. Members of ANPRESS, an affiliate of the Colombian Federation of Journalists in the city of Ibagué in west central Colombia, stand up for jouranlism. Their sign reads: Journalists seek truth through peace: No more indifference! Italian Journalists demonstrating with the President of the FNSI Franco Siddi. Lithuanian Journalists Union Demonstration for Stand Up for Journalism! Media cover a Stand Up for Journalism event in Ukraine. The Kyiv Independent Media Trade Union launched a national campaign against secret payments for news on their main TV Channels under the name 'News are not for sale!'. Standing up for Journalism at the BBC Slovenian journalists from the Primorske novice and RTV Koper (regional center of RTV Slovenia) stand up for journalism during a work stoppage on Nov 5. MediaSind stands up for journalism in Romania Serbia: Round table discussion organised at the Journalists' House with journalists' organisations (Dragana Cabarkapa, Dejan Gligorijevic, Nino Brajovic, Rajko Simic , Nada Gace), Deputy of minister of media Dragan Jajnic, Inspector for labor and General Director of daily Vecernje Novosti Manojlo Vukotic French journalists stand up for journalism. Council of Europe Human Rights Commissioner Thomas Hammerberg, Leigh Phillips of the National Union of Journalists of the UK and Ireland,  President of the Brussels Foreign Correspondents Association (API) Lorenzo Consoli and EFG General Secretary Aidan White discuss the future of quality journalism. Staff and members of the EFJ, NUJ Brussels branch and Association Générale des Journalistes Professionnels de Belgique (AGJPB)/ Algemene Vereniging van Beroeps-journalisten in België (AVBB) stand up for journalism at the European Parliament.
