25th November is the International Day on the Elimination of Violence Against Women.

Media must provide the public with a realistic, fair and accurate account of the horrifying prevalence of violence against women on an international scale.

However, reporting on such a sensitive issue needs certain key qualities. It requires professionalism, humanity and respect. Failure to apply the highest standards in dealing with victims such as poor conduct of interviews can compound the trauma and may even worsen the long-term impact of the ordeal on victims.

To mark  25th November , the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) will release reporting guidelines on violence against women and organise a roundtable with experts to explore the role of the media in reporting on this tragedy.

unfortunatly the volience agaist women seeems all over the world . that voilences are not only in poor or backworld countries but seems in advanced county even united states, chaina ,Germany etc. the voilences against women should be condems in this of 21st centery. as my own viewsthat the voilances have diffrents crietareas in diffrent parts of the world. in the poor and backwold countries like south asia countries , Afghanistan, pakistan ,Sarilanka.,india etc should growing facilities for girls education.education is the basic thing to promot and develop the humen being rights.following ae the important point to increase the women skills in future. 1; education facilites 2; health facilities 3; Financial facilites/oppertunities 4; tight and wokable laws 5; approch to justace/ courts media can paly a powerful act in the respect of voilance agaist women in the world. espacily "Honour killing" wich are seemed in south Asia countries, thousands of women were killed in past as Houor killing and hunderd of innocent women are killing every ear in south asia. im verry appreciate IFJ to loud a voice for volience agaist women and honor killing.
